Being centrally located on the North West Coast of Tasmania and 3 kilometers from the Bass Highway on a paved road makes an ideal stopover or base place when visiting Tasmania.

Our theme is comfortable and relaxing.  Our ranch style home is simply furnished with the basic necessities we expect in our culture.  There is reverse cycle heating/cooling.  Electric blankets are on the beds, which have doonas and extra blankets if needed.  Each bedroom has an additional electric heater.  The lounge has board games, puzzles, CD's, a CD player as well as flat screen TV and DVD player.  The outdoors is very close, the gardens around the house call out to be explored, and for those interested, our environmentally friendly initiatives can be discussed. We have started growing blueberries commercially, guests can observe and learn about them.  Our large patio is full of plants, plus a BBQ and table tennis table. 

Guests can book the 3 bedroom self-contained apartment for their exclusive use and self cater or book one of the bedrooms with continental breakfast provided.

There is level access to the accommodation and provisions for guests with limited mobility.

Pets welcome with prior arrangement.

Nearby attractions include a wildlife farm (30 minutes), cheese factory with tastings (15 minutes), winery (20 minutes), whiskey distillery with restaurant and guided tours (l5 minutes),  and creative paper making with demonstrations (15 minutes).
